Yahoo Messenger : I can not see any typed message or incoming Instant message

Now a days many yahoo messenger users are facing this problem . When ever they type any message in the yahoo Instant message box they cant see any typed message , in the same way they are unable to see the incoming message .
If you are also unable to see the typed text in the yahoo messenger or Instant message from your friends , then try this

First try sign off and sign in for few times , if you still face the problem then uninstall the yahoo messenger and reinstall

Even i also faced the same problem , For few times sign off and sign in had worked or even restarting the PC also worked.
But after uninstalling and installing the yahoo messenger i got rid of the problem

If uninstalling and installing the yahoo messenger also not work then follow the below two steps

STEP -1
go to Start Button – Run – type regsvr32 jscript.dll – then press OK
STEP-2
go to Start Button – Run – type regsvr32 vbscript.dll – then press OK

now your yahoo messenger will work normally


if you have any other solution for it share with us by commenting below

UPDATE : You no need to uninstall and reinstall the messenger
follow the Step 1 and step 2 directly

    Hi I am having the same proplem I have uninstalled and installed yahoo messenger several times I also went to “start” and tried you suggestion and it said the file could not be found…….any other suggestions you may have that I can try?
    I have also gone to my security tap and enabled java scripting and still I get nothing.

    Thanks a bunch, re-registering the dll files worked for me as well without having to re-install

    great solution, i wonder who disabled it, i would have never figured that out on my own, i installed almost all of yahoo messenger version

    great solution man.. i was pissed off earlier because my messengers were not working … yahoo and ohters.. i tries a lot of things but nothing worked. then i saw ur solution of step 1 and step 2.. and it worked!!!… gud work.. sincere thanks to u ….

    Tried the above steps and I still get a script error and cannot see any messages. This worked fine before the BETA and full 9.0 version was released. When I try to go back to old versions I get the same message. Any other suggestions? From Anyone??

    Tell me this letter(the module’jscript.was loaded but the call to dii registr server failed with error code ox8oo4oo5. for mor infotmation abut this problem,search onlime using the error cod as asearch term.

    hi guys,thanks a lot.The steps worked out,,but why does this happen?And shud we do this everytime we start the system?
    And for those of u who telling that u got “not found” error when u typed the step1 and 2,,,welll that happened because u wudnt have left a space between Regsvr32 and the script,,,type exactly as given WITH THE SPACE!!!
