Google had recently integrated an invisible mode to its chat, but its contained with a bug.Rahul Bansal (Devils Workshop) figured the bug out and says that the error messages can distinguish the invisible and the offline ones.
So lets see how this can be done. Initially set the chat as off the record with the target user when he/she is online. You can now try sending chat to the user when he/she is invisible or offline. If he is invisible then he will receive the your message and you get no errors. But incase he is offline then you get an error message “user did not receive your chat”
Here a user named Michael is set to “go off the record”, and when he is offline you send a chat you would not receive any error and Michael receives your message, as shown below.
Michael is “invisible”
And if Michael is offline Google will display the error “Michael did not receive your chat”. Offline messages are sent as regular messages in Gmail, but this is not possible because the conversations between you and Michael are off the record. Michael won’t receive your message.
Michael is now offline
So this is how you can find who are in invisible mode and hope Google works on this bug sooner to help the invisible guys.

iPhone 3G Delayed: You Have To Wait

Its been a week since the mighty launch of the Apple’s great iPhone3G. Lots of issues, server hangs, many inabilities on Internet and all these haven’t deterred the minds of the customers who are determined to own their favorite gadget. As the iPhone3G roll out have reached one million in just two days after the launch, analysts are warning that it might take as long as a month for Apple to replenish its stock.
ComputerWorld had reported that only 50 out of the 188 Apple Stores in US have the iPhone3G in stock and only 13 stores having all the three models. Even the Internet flooding with the inabilities of iPhone such as no bluetooth file transfer,lacks video recording, minimal signal reception …and more on the list. The Apple Stores even now are sighted with long set of queue to get a glimpse of their favorite iPhone sorry The iPhone3G.
And even for the AT&T Stores the same story, the orders to the AT&T are delayed by 10-21 days. The main problems that have been cited are the massive 21 country launch so its the stock being divided and the massive demand for peoples wonder gadget.
Unfortunately, the shortage could get worse before it gets better. Computerworld quotes an analyst who predicts "problems for another two to four weeks" until Apple boosts its inventory.
So if you are planning to have an iPhone3G on to your hand..its better to be not late…get in to your nearest Apple Store.

How To Browse WAP Sites on Computer?

Its been a hectic task while it comes to browsing on mobiles, you are just limited to a set of 11 buttons to key your input. Recently I was stuck up with a problem that is I wanted to install UCWeb 5.1 English on to my mobile but all the versions did not support all the mobiles, so I had to test each and every one on my mobile. As I found most of the apps on the net did not support, the official UCWeb Forum drew my attention and said that UCWeb5.1 English version is available but only in the wap.ucweb.com, but I could not afford to try each and every app from the wap site by downloading them and paying for each and every KB. So thats were I wanted to have a wap browser on PC that can save my download costs as I am having an unlimited Internet connectivity.
Similarly many of you could also faced similar problems not in terms of download cost alone but some hesitating to use WAP just because they believe that browsing on mobile is really hectic. And here is a solution for all you guys, don’t stop yourself getting into WAP just because you hate mobile keying or cannot afford to expensive data transfer packages.
