Step1: Click on Start Menu and go to Program then click on Microsoft Word.
Step2: In Microsoft Word go to Tools menu and click on Customize option.
Step3: A dialog box will appear with title Customize, now click on “Keyboard” button.
Step4: Again a small dialog box with title Customize Keyboard, the list of all the categories of commands with appear on the left side of the dialog box. You should click on the category that contains the command which you want to assign a shortcut keyboard.
Step5: Choose the command you want to assign a keyboard combination on the right side of the customize keyboard dialog box and then click the key you want to create shortcut.

Step6: Now click on Assign button to final the shortcuts key combination then close it.

We normally shutdown or restart our Windows power PC by using the start menu and then clicking Turn off your computer and then selecting shutdown or restart from the new window. How flexible and easy could it be if you could easily shut down or restart with in a click of a button. As the button is triggered a shutdown or restart operation is triggered. Step1: Right click on your desktop and go to New then Shortcut.
Step2: On the new “Create Shortcut” window, type the following command SHUTDOWN -r -t 30

Here t 30 means time in second, for example if you want your computer will restart automatically after half minute then the command will be shutdown -r -t 30. But if you want your computer will restart without any countdown then type command as shutdown -r -t 00.
Step3: Click Next button to type the name of this shortcut and press Finish to close it.

Step1: Click Start, then click Control Panel.
Step2: Click and open the “System” icon
Step3: Select the “Hardware” tab and choose “Device Manager” option.
Step4: List the ATA/ATAPI options by clicking the “+” icon next to it.
Step5: Select the “Primary IDE Channel” option.
Step6: In the “Primary IDE Properties” window select the “Advanced Settings” tab.
Step7: Check whether the “Transfer Mode” for “Device 0” enables DMA.
Step8: Also, check whether the “Transfer Mode” for “Device 1” enables DMA.
Step9: Click “OK” to confirm the changes.
Step10:Hence, click “Secondary IDE Channel”.
Step11: In the “Secondary IDE Properties”, select the “Advanced Settings” tab.
Step12:Check whether the “Transfer Mode” for “Device 0” enables DMA.
Step13: Also, check whether the “Transfer Mode” for “Device 1” enables DMA.
Step14: When done, click “OK” to confirm the changes.
