Paypal had served millions of customers and merchants for years, still no one to rival, but its not the case now the with Google. Paypal has still remained the best payment mode and but its now the survival for the fittest. But with a competitor hope Paypal would go for certain cuts in the transaction charges. AS of now a user may lose about 2-5% while transacting and about 7-10$ while withdrawing money. And this is where the Google had come up with an introductory offer that is it would not charge merchants during the Beta Phase. And Google services never compromise on the quality and flexibility if their product. So its never bad to utilize the Beta Phase for all your transactions.
Apple Ready With The FixIT for iPhone 3G
August 15, 2008
For Apple its an endurance test to sustain the iPhone 3G in the market even more, because even before the initial orders of iPhone 3G are delivered, many started experiencing problems like call drop, reception issues etc. The so called privileged users of the iPhone 3G who just had dreamt of $200 gadget had costed them a triple of what the CEO of Apple Steve Jobs had promised. And its now the Business Week that had reported that Apple is finally out with the fix for all those issues but the only thing is that the users would have to endure the troubles till September to let on their devices to test the new fixes.
Reports say that the call drops occur when the iPhone3G switches from faster to slower networks that is while switching from an EDGE or GPRS network to 3G. The issue revolves around the coding on an Infineon chip with in the phone. The company claims that its confident of sorting out the problems and hence avoiding a Product Recall as its not that easy to service and recall all the millions of devices sold. And after all the reputation Apple gained from all the iPhone3G and the ex-iPhone would get on the earth. And its all the time factor thats going to determine the iPhone3G sales.
DataCase: Wireless HDD For iPhone
August 15, 2008
As the iGadgets have peacefully strolled through the “D day” attracting a millions of users to have a first glimpse of their very own iPhone3G. Its not been a smooth journey for the Apple to settle all those issues of the users getting activated their iPhones etc which had drastically slowed the iPhone3G pace. But now its the time to for another fancy and utility attachments for your gadget, Apple had introduced a new application which leverages your iPhone or iPod into a hard drive and is available at the AppStores. Apple claims to have the iPhones and iPods able to stream audio and video via DataCase. Wondered! Its true DataCase transforms your peppy Apple Gadget into wireless harddrive that can be accessed through WiFi.
So how this works, its just a form of WiFi enable network Hard Drive. It consists of the Drop Box which is a write only directory used only for passive reading and the Shared Files directory enables both reading and writing of data. And unlike other variants, DataCase need not require any applications to installed prior to the operation. So wondered about the cost, DataCase will cost you $6.99 but very well not sure as the $199 game of iPhone3G did not even work at single place of its launch. Lets hope to have the DataCase for atleast $10 and not for $100.
